Why I practice in estate and elder law

My journey into elder law began in the 1990s when my wife’s grandfather suffered a fall. As the family’s attorney, I faced the overwhelming task of navigating nursing home care, affordability, and quality. Despite my legal background, finding clear answers to these common concerns was difficult. This experience fueled my determination to find better solutions.

After attending a National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys conference, I discovered my passion for elder law. Today, my practice is dedicated to helping families navigate the complexities of long-term care planning, providing the guidance and peace of mind I once sought for my own family.
